With 60 campsites on or near the beach, there's ample space for visitors to camp at Henderson Beach State Park. You'll want to bring your tent, sleeping bags, matches, folding chairs, a camera, and plenty of ingredients for s'mores! Reservations can be made up to 11 months in advance. For certain dates, spaces will fill up, so it is suggested that you reserve your spot as early as you can.

Camping at Henderson Beach State Park is fun and affordable. During your time there, you can participate in activities like fishing, biking, and hiking. The park is 200 acres and features lots of trails, so you'll want to find time to at least go for a stroll around the gorgeous property. During the fall, the beach is on a monarch butterfly migration route, so visitors can expect to see some of the beautiful creatures fluttering around! Not visiting during the fall? Keep an eye out for unique shore birds, including six protected species!
