TripAdvisor recently released their annual beach rankings, and, as usual, Florida has dominated the list. Snagging 8 of the 25 top spots, including the number 1 spot, Florida has once again proved that they are home to one of the nation's best coastlines!
TripAdvisor's list is based on the quality and quantity of each U.S. beach's reviews. Florida's St. Pete Beach, which is located near Tampa, Clearwater, and St. Petersburg, took first prize this year, also ranking in at number 5 in the world!
The other seven beaches that made Top 25 are Medeira Beach, Ormond Beach, Henderson Beach State Park, Pensacola Beach, Treasure Island, Siesta Beach, and Clearwater Beach. The majority of these are on Florida's beautiful Gulf Coast. Two of them are on the Emerald Coast!
Pensacola Beach ranked in at number 15 this year, and Henderson Beach State Park ranked in at number 13! Both beaches are known for their white sand beaches and emerald-green waters. Henderson Beach State Park in Destin offers a calmer beach environment with tons of natural features for the public to enjoy.
