We can all agree that the Emerald Coast's beaches are amazinggg. Sometimes, however, you need a break from all of the sun and sand. If you're ready for a fun, engaging change of pace, then you should check out the Destin History & Fishing Museum!

The Destin History & Fishing Museum opened in 2005 as a non-profit tourist destination. It aims to educate visitors and locals on the evolution of Destin from a small fishing village to an internationally-renown tourist destination. The museum contains over 5000 square feet of exhibits exploring early Native Americans, local fish, boats, rodeo history, and more! My personal favorite artifact is a Penn Real that used to belong to Ernest Hemingway. How cool is that??
