For me, one of the most frustrating parts of the COVID-19 pandemic has been waiting for the return of live music. If you visit Pensacola this month, then you won't have to waste anymore time waiting! There are a variety of fun live music events planed in Pensacola throughout May.

Seville Quarter is a huge venue with seven different themed rooms that feature dancing, pool, food, drinks, and more. It is also a hub of musical activity. There, karaoke takes place at 8 PM five days a week! When karaoke isn't going on, they have other (more in-tune) musical events. Each Monday at 7 PM, you can enjoy Monday Night Blues, and each Tuesday at 7:30 PM, you can enjoy Tuesday Night Jazz. Plan your perfect evening at Seville Quarter using the calendar of events on their website.

The 37th Annual Pensacola JazzFest will take place May 15 and 16th at Seville Square in downtown Pensacola. This annual event normally draws huge crowds of spectators who are eager to enjoy national, regional, and local jazz performers. If you like jazz, you can't miss this event- headliners include one of the top tuba and acoustic/electric bass players in the United States, Joe Murphy, and his quartet; international jazz pianist Tony Viviano; and saxophonist Doug Horn.
