THE FIRST STEPS
Drive across the bridge from Okaloosa Island and just look to the right. Better yet, fly your drone from Noriego Point on Holiday Isle just like I did, and look to the right again.
The bustling harbor greets you. This is where you enjoy a walk like no other, the walk through Harborwalk Village!
In a few football fields of length, you will find more then your imagination can dream up: Boogie's Rentals with jetskis and more. Harry T's, AJ's and Harbor Dock's, and more! Stop by and enjoy gulf seafood and drinks with a sunset view that is to die for. The restaurants on this beautiful walk will provide memories for a lifetime. 
You can dine at Margaritaville with Buffett playing in the background, or you can take a fun trip on the Zipline as the lights go on and the sun falls into the water. As darkness settles in, the energy erupts. In the summer on Thursdays, you'll always enjoy the fireworks. The bands that come to the village vary from full blown popular mainstream national acts on AJ's main stage to local one man bands at the Boathouse and Tailfins and other special hangouts.
A BOATLOAD OF BOATS
As your walk increases, so does the number of charter fishing boats. Yes, Destin is the "luckiest little fishing village" and just to prove the point you will find more on this harbor then any other harbor on the Gulf Coast. The best thing to do on a spring, summer, or fall day is to hangout midday or late day and watch the boats come in with their catch. From Red Snapper season to the yearly Fishing Rodeo in the fall, Harborwalk Village has seasons and tournaments like no other place. Fishing boats aren't all you will find. Take a dolphin cruise or a speedboat sunset cruise. If that isn't entertaining enough get a pirate ship reality cruise aboard The Buccaneer Pirate Ship. A small group of friends will really enjoy Cruisin Tiki.

AN ISLAND WITH NO CRABS
Last but not least, Harborwalk Village is a perfect way to get afloat to the famous Crab Island. Rent a Pontoon or take a trip with Crab Island Cruises or many other water taxi services. Either way, you will enjoy the party of a lifetime. Crab Island is fast becoming a must do when you come to Destin. 
So much so... that you can literally buy Ice Cream and T-shirts from your watercraft while enjoying all the water activities in the bay. It's fun for adults and for the kids.
ONE LAST WORD
Well, take the walk. You might be exhausted, but you'll love every step. Don't forget to leave a dollar bill on the wall at Maguire's Irish Pub and Restaurant. It will be the end to just another day in paradise.
