If you frequent this blog, then you've probably figured out that the cities along the Emerald Coast know all of the best ways to celebrate holidays. Easter is no different. If you're traveling to the Emerald Coast during Easter weekend, then you're sure to discover plenty of festive activities to participate in! Here are a few of the more popular events that will be taking place this coming weekend.

Photos with the Easter Bunny

If you're traveling with kids this Easter, then you won't want to leave without a souvenir photo with the Easter bunny! There are a few great options for this in Destin. Bass Pro Shops is offering photos from March 27 until April 3. Bass Pro Shops will have COVID-19-friendly photo sessions that are contactless and that include temperature checks, social distancing, and required face coverings for staff members. Henderson Beach Resort and The Emerald Grand will also offer photos with the Easter bunny during their special Easter brunches. Finally, LuLu's will be offering family photos with the Easter bunny on April 3 and 4.

Easter Brunch

Easter brunch is popular on the Emerald Coast. As mentioned before, Henderson Beach Resort will offer a brunch special on April 4th from 10 AM until 2 PM. Tickets are $28 for guests between the ages of 4-12 and $85 for others, and will include Easter bunny sightings and delicious food.

Similarly, The Emerald Grande at HarborWalk Village will offer a brunch program on April 4th from 10:30 AM until 2:30 PM. Tickets to this event will be $18 for kids and $42 for adults. This brunch will have lots of photo opportunities, Easter-themed activities, and a golden egg treasure hunt!

Festive Easter Celebrations

This year, the City of Destin will host a drive-thru egg hunt. This event will run from 9 AM until 11:00 AM and will feature treats, prizes, and Easter eggs for guests to collect from the comfort and safety of their own vehicle.

Athletic visitors will love the 2021 Grayt Easter Run, hosted by Good News UMC. This is a great way to start your holiday with a burst of healthy activity!

The Hub 30A will have their annual Easter celebration on April 4. This event will include face painting, live music, and an egg hunt. If you're wanting to keep your Easter Sunday more tame, then check out The Village of Baytowne Wharf's similar Easter Explosion event on April 3!
